Instrument Grading System
In order to allow users
around the world to effectively select value for money
instruments, we have graded all instruments into 4 classes. All
grading are done by accredited instructors and performers of
various instruments, esteemed instrument makers and
well-established retailers and instrument craftsmen in the fields.
The 4 classes are:
| Novice |
These are the
basic models, meant for use by the beginners who have yet to
be certain whether they will devote more time, or are still
unwilling to invest more into the learning of the instrument.
However, in cadenza, these instruments are
definitely in-tune and stage-worthy for the orchestral
and ensemble player. |
| Professional |
These are the
high standard instruments, meant for the regular performers,
or those who have decided to further their learning of the
instrument. These instruments should
have soloist performance timbre when played with appropriate
skills. They may be also uniquely decorated. |
| Virtuoso |
These are
extremely high standard instruments, meant for those who are
already of certain musicality, virtuosity. The materials
selected are premium or even rare and its grading ensures its
highest levels of performance. Though
a bit higher priced, the craftsmanship are always at the
highest at this level. The decorations and ornaments are often
elaborate, making this class of instrument an investment as
well as an art. |
| Maestro |
The occurrence
of these instruments are rare, few and far between. It may be
expensive, but the quality would be astounding.
We will announce the putting up of such an
instrument via the mail list to given everyone a chance to own
the instrument. Should the response be overwhelming, we may
either hold an auction, if the maker has stopped producing, or
procure more from the maker again. |
Regardless of the class or
grade of instrument, every product bought from Cadenza is covered
by our Cadenza
